Elliot Rodger: Victim Of Racism

I am an invisible man. No, I am not a spook like those who haunted Edgar Allen Poe; nor am I one of your Hollywood-movie ectoplasms. I am a man of substance, of flesh and bone, fiber and liquids – and I might even be said to possess a mind. I am invisible, understand, simply because people refuse to see me. Like the bodiless heads you see sometimes in circus sideshows, it is as though I have been surrounded by mirrors of hard, distorting glass. When they approach me they see only my surroundings, themselves, or figments of their imagination – indeed, everything, and anything except me. - Invisible Man Ralph Ellison

The manifesto attributed to Elliot Rodger contains the word “invisible” 22 times. The Isla Vista massacre has been widely reported, and Rodger’s digital fingerprints – videos and postings – have been dissected, redacted, and politicized. Feeble victims sob for gun control and again fail to loosen the grip of my cold dead hand. The most prominent talking point from this tragedy being that Rodger was a mentally disturbed misogynist. White-dominated media outlets have framed the murder of 2 White Women and 4 males (of which 3 were Asian) as a “hate crime” against Women. In death as in life, the perception of Elliot Rodger remains distorted; Whites refuse to accurately view and interpret these events.

This is not an exoneration of Rodger’s alleged crimes, but a commitment to truth - and a special duty to accurately understand any events that involve the loss of life.

One of the single most important questions when dealing with people on a planet dominated by Racism (White Supremacy) is: What is the racial classification of the person(s)?

As my fourth grade year approached its end, my little nine-year-old self had another revelation about how the world works. I realized that there were hierarchies, that some people were better than others. Of course I was subconsciously aware of this in the past, but it was at this time of my life – at nine years old – that I started to give it a lot of thought and importance.
I started to see this at school. At school, there were always the “cool kids” who seemed to be more admirable than everyone else. The peaceful and innocent environment of childhood where everyone had an equal footing was all over. The time of fair play was at its end. Life is a competition and a struggle, and I was slowly starting to realize it.
When I became aware of this common social structure at my school, I also started to examine myself and compare myself to these “cool kids”. I realized, with some horror, that I wasn’t “cool” at all. I had a dorky hairstyle, I wore plain and uncool clothing, and I was shy and unpopular. I was always described as the shy boy in the past, but I never really thought my shyness would affect me in a negative way, until this point.
This revelation about the world, and about myself, really decreased my self-esteem. On top of this was the feeling that I was different because I am of mixed race. I am half White, half Asian, and this made me different from the normal fully-white kids that I was trying to fit in with.
I envied the cool kids, and I wanted to be one of them. My first act was to ask my parents to allow me to bleach my hair blonde. I always envied and admired blonde-haired people, they always seemed so much more beautiful.
This is the most essential piece of Rodger’s 137-page diatribe. There’s no reason to doubt the veracity of his childhood epiphany because there are too many examples of non-white children grasping that the world thinks less of everyone not White. This common and devastating realization galvanized scores of Birmingham black children to confront Bull Connor. Conversely, this very same awareness has led millions of melanated children to avoid the sun, chemically mutilate their dark skin with bleaching concoctions, and a myriad of other behaviors reflecting impaled self-worth.

White people did not accept Elliot Rodger as White. Many reports have processed Rodger as the latest illustration of White male pathology – the brotherhood of Norway Terrorist Anders Breivik, Sandy Hook Terrorist Adam Lanza, and White Supremacist Frazier Glenn Miller. Rodger’s mental illness is self-evident, but there’s nothing to verify his membership in the ultimate criminal organization - the White Race.

The Southern Poverty Law Center and other outlets latched on to Rodger’s denigratory remarks about blacks and Asians:
Full Asian men are disgustingly ugly and white girls would never go for you. You’re just butthurt that you were born as an asian piece of shit, so you lash out by linking these fake pictures. You even admit that you wish you were half white. You’ll never be half-white and you’ll never fulfill your dream of marrying a white woman. I suggest you jump off a bridge.
Non-white self-hate is a primary result of White Supremacy. Countless Victims of Racism believe (hope) that by imbibing Racist concepts, performing Racist culture, rebuffing all representations of non-white people, they will be received as White. Most often, this ends in tragic repudiation.

Take Leo Felton - non-white male with one White parent, one black parent. After spending time in prison, he attempts to “pass” as White, facilitates a neo-Nazi reading group, and eventually plans to ignite a “race war.” But...
The media broke the news that Felton had one black parent and one white one. It was a delicious story for the Boston papers -- the biracial race terrorist -- but Felton's racial unmasking was his worst nightmare come true. The week the story broke, he tried to commit suicide by slicing his own jugular vein.

Like Felton, Rodger’s father [Peter Roger] is White. His mother [Li Chin] is non-white. He consistently self-identifies as “half-white,” “half-asian,” “Eurasian,” and “mixed-race”. For Rodger, Felton and most non-white people the idea of white culture [becomes] symbolic. Blue eyes, blond hair, and paleness represent our desires, deficiencies and denied dreams.

It’s been my life struggle to get a beautiful, white girl.
-       Elliot Rodger

The #YesAllWomen campaign has sited this slaying as another illustration of patriarchal violence that degrades, objectifies, and all too frequently butchers women.  Unjust and indefensible male-abuse of females is a serious problem. But to depict Rodger as an embittered sexist, driven to murder when his male entitlement to female subjugation was denied, misconstrues what produced the May 23rd tragedy. Rodger was obsessed and irate with a small segment of women. White women. Blond White women to be specific. This is a rare occasion when the White feminist crusade should follow their usual modus operandi and ignore non-white females; this is strictly about White women.

Out of the blackest part of my soul, across the zebra striping of my mind, surges this desire to be suddenly white. I wish to be acknowledged not as black but as white. Now who but a white woman can do this for me? By loving me she proves that I am worthy of white love. I am loved like a white man. I am a white man. Her love takes me onto the noble road that leads to total realization.... I marry white culture, white beauty, white whiteness. When my restless hands caress those white breasts, they grasp white civilization and dignity and make them mine.
Franz Fanon
Black Skin, White Mask

Rodger craved acknowledgement and validation from White women and White men and was consistently denied. Dexter Thomas, Jr.’s marvelous analysis calls attention to the emphasis Rodger placed on being spurned by White males.  Rodger recounts a bevy of anecdotes where White males exclude and deny him access to White male bonding, White masculinity. Being discarded by White males and White females is the dominant theme of his manifesto, an essential source of his self-hate and contempt for all non-white people, and the core of the trauma that spurred him to mass murder.

Television and movies were our biggest teachers. Asian men, particularly, were either small, ineffective or they were evil. And those messages were deeply, deeply embedded in me for many years. – Alex Tizon

Rodger identified as “half-asian” but felt the undiluted intensity of Racist propaganda. The System of White Supremacy necessitates that non-white people feel inadequate, insufficient. Rodger groped to be recognized and loved by Whites. Disallowed, he succumbed to the Racist disfigurement that he was niggardly, impotent, and in a self-fulfilling manner, dangerous. Rodger’s final hours reveal his value of Asian (non-white) life; 4 of the 7 people killed were Asian males (he committed suicide).

His father, Peter Rodger, is the most important symbol of White masculinity in Rodger’s life; the tropes of approval, dismissal, and "invisibility" dominate Rodger’s commentary on his paternal relationship.
My father thought that all was well with me. How could he be so blind? He was so caught up in his failing work that he didn’t care about how my life was turning out. I cursed him for it. My father never made any effort to prepare me for facing such a cruel world. He never taught me how to attract girls. He never warned me that if I didn’t attract girls at an early age, my life would fall into a miserable pit of despair! Again... How could he be so blind?
Rodger’s manifesto suggests a distance between he and his White father, that Peter Rodger had less time for his non-white son and even restricted Elliot’s access to his residence. This is significant and not surprising. Although many Whites promote “interracial relationships” as a harbinger of Racism’s conquest, these Tragic Arrangements typically reveal the depths of White commitment to Racism. Minister Malcolm X opined on “bi-racial” children: If you notice the White man always rejects children of mixed marriage. When you become of mixed blood, you’re never White. You’re always non-white.

Racists are fond of mocking black males as incapable, lackadaisical fathers. This tends to be a redundant refrain when addressing black problems – which are all a result of Racism/White people. The spotlight rarely shifts to the negligent, nonexistent White daddies who produce offspring with non-white females. From raping enslavers, to South Carolina Senator Strom Thurmond, to the staggering number of Amerasians abandoned during the conflicts in Vietnam and Korea, White males’ embarrassing – perhaps criminal – record of deserting their “mixed-raced” babies is undeniable, global.

This has an enormous and non-constructive impact on the child. These youngsters frequently exhibit all the typical indicators of father-hunger; in addition, they have the onerous burden of understanding their ambiguous racial status – which can often include the sort of isolation Elliot Rodger recorded.

Rodger’s White father could have helped him develop a healthy concept of manhood and identity by speaking to him about Racism. White parents’ dedication to White Supremacy is evidenced by their standard silence on Racism with their “mixed-race” offspring. White Supremacy warped Elliot Rodger’s assessment of himself and the world. Perhaps if his parents, therapists, or life coaches offered Rodger candid conversation on Racism, Isla Vista may have enjoyed a May 23rd without carnage.
Peter Rodger could have simply talked to his son about his Hollywood career. The elder Rodger was an assistant director for the 2012 nuclear hit The Hunger Games. A global audience celebrated a film where children slaughter children for entertainment. Like Elliot Rodger, hordes ogled pale star Jennifer Lawrence and her portrayal of Katniss Everdeen. Lawrence’s character was on the verge of being killed until Rue (Amandla Stenberg, non-white female) saved her White life. But a sizable chunk of White viewers focused on one thing… Stenberg is not White.
Never mind that Stenberg – like Elliot Rodger – has one White parent. She’s not White, and for many Whites, this ruined the film. Stenberg was branded a nigger, and some Whites publicly celebrated her non-white character’s death.
This would have resonated with Elliot Rodger for a myriad of reasons. It’s unlikely that Peter Rodger was ignorant of the Racist controversy targeting Stenberg. This tacky episode could have been used as a teachable moment to explain the depths of Racism, the pattern of White rejection and persecution of non-white people. It seems unlikely this happened.

Predictably, Whites do not honestly address their ongoing Racist behavior and how their pathologies disrupt the lives and conduct of non-white people globally. Elliot Rodger like Seung-Hui Cho, Assata Shakur, and Christopher Dorner are stripped of context. They’re debunked by titles that remove their humanity and reduce them to loony brutes undeserving of life. White Supremacy is methodically engineered insanity. It is a final act of Racist vulgarity to traumatize humans to madness and then feign ignorance about what caused such “craziness.”

Whites gaze unobstructed from the privileged penthouse, boast of their pursuit of all-seeing, supreme surveillance - satellite images, behind-the-scenes and closed-circuit footage of Saturn, Jennifer Lawrence's backstage blunders, and the last seconds of those killed in Isla Vista. But counterfeit blindness when asked to see Racism - themselves.

Interracial Relationships are SADD

The author of this blog does not support the popular belief that interracial relationships represent progress, the demise of Racism. White Supremacists/Slave Masters/Segregationists have been sexually engaged with non-white people for centuries. Miscegenation and White Supremacy are compatible; history reveals them to be frequent companions. Gus has invested a significant amount of time and energy studying these tragic arrangements; his conclusion is that sexual intercourse with a White person/Racist Suspect has disastrous ramifications for the non-white person involved - and a substantial number of non-white people who have a good deal of contact with either members of the interracial tandem. Integrated bedrooms/back seats have delivered us a menagerie of fascinating terms(Octoroon), exotic looking people (Jennifer Beals), interesting flicks (Watermelon Man) and a White House full of Obamas. Sadly, Injustice, White Supremacy remains. And the non-white people who get it on with White people, are especially SADD.

SADD:
SPACE for Non-Racist White people. Sexual intercourse symbolizes an intimate bond between two individuals. People naturally tend to develop a greater awareness and consideration for the person whom shares their bed. For non-white people with a White sex partner, this mandates that they conceptualize Racism in a manner that allows for Good White Folks. That is, White people who definitely don't do anything to participate in the System of White Supremacy. As with snack chips, it's generally difficult to stop at one. The non-white person who has convinced themselves that there is at least one White person who is not complicit with Racism/White Supremacy, tends to find other such White people. As their White sex partner will come to represent their most penetrating and trusted relationship to White people, this Suspected Racist will profoundly shape how this Victim perceives White people at large. Ramifications? These non-white people will be intolerant of any analysis of Racism which assumes or suggests that every White person is a participant in the System of White Supremacy. All White people would mean that their White partner is no exception; this is unacceptable for the maintenance of the non-white person's integrated relationship as well as their sanity.
Illustration: The C.O.W.S. w/ Dr. Eddie Moore, Jr (May 2009).

SADD:
Racism becomes ABSTRACT.
ABSTRACT: [adjective] A) thought apart from concrete realities, specific objects, [PEOPLE] or actual instances. B) expressing a quality or characteristic apart from any specific object, [PERSON] or instance. C) difficult to understand.
ABSTRACT: [verb]  A) to divert or draw away the attention of. B) to consider as a general quality or characteristic apart from specific objects, [PEOPLE] or instances.
The System of White Supremacy is designed to befuddle non-white people. Our continued subjugation is the supreme evidence of our counter-racist deficiencies. Engaging in sexual intercourse with a Racist severely hampers the ability of non-white people to remember that Racism is a product of White behavior. "The Problem is White People." Non-white people with a White partner are frequently able to admit that Racism persists. However, they will posit that Racism exists because of laws, statues, codes, customs, chance... anything, anyone but the White people they're seated with and smooching. When White people address terrorism and crime, they make certain that everyone remembers that there are specific individuals to blame. Terrorists create Terrorism. Criminals create Crime. This flawless logic dictates that if Racism/White Supremacy endures, living, breathing Racists/White Supremacists (White People) are responsible. Sexual intercourse with a White person demands that the non-white person reject any discussion of Racism that implicates White folks - especially the White person who sees them naked.

SADD:
DEFENDING White people. Chancellor L. Williams' Destruction of Black Civilization offers a phenomenal dissection of how White Supremacists have used miscegenation to establish a Buffer Group. This non-white Buffer can be used to protect White Supremacists and their interests. Non-white people with a White sex partner, White baby momma/daddy or White mother and father are directly related to Suspected Racists; that is, they cherish an intense emotional bond with a White person whom has been trained to perceive and relate to non-whites as inferior. Conversely, non-white people are conditioned to cater to and comfort White people. Engaging in sexual intercourse with a White person, conjoins the non-white person's interests with a representative of the global network of White Domination. Dr. Henry Louis Gates, Jr., Audre Lorde, Tiger Woods, Halle Berry, Alice Walker, Frantz Fanon, Lorraine Hansberry and James Brown have talked about, worked against and suffered from Racism. But will they indict their White sex partners and/or spouses? It has been this author's observation that such Victims staunchly oppose any non-white person who suggests that all White people are culpable, at minimum, Racist Suspects. The Victim's tireless defense is motivated to preserve White Innocence. Their indefatigable effort must simultaneously vindicate their own intelligence and ability to accurately understand and function on a planet dominated by White Supremacy... while bedding down with a Racist Suspect.
Illustration: The C.O.W.S. w/ Dr. Nell Irvin Painter (June 2010).

SADD:
"DIVIDED loyalties". Those two words came directly from a Victim of Racism who has a White spouse. This Victim indicated that having a White spouse restricted her attempts to counter-racism. Divided Loyalties. Meaning the non-white person has an allegiance to a White person whom is most likely a Racist. This erodes the non-white person's ability to accurately assess the System of White Supremacy. This author has observed these non-white people minimize the impact and pervasive nature of Racism/White Supremacy. They will remind other Victims that: Slavery was over 100 years ago. You can't blame all White people. And that Racism is not the only form of abuse in the universe. Gus has witnessed this degenerate to where the non-white person with a White sex partner is accusing other non-white people of being Racist; they contend that suggesting that White people be regarded as Racist Suspects is comparable to the KKK and segregationist. This author can only surmise that the intimate and emotional bond of sexual intercourse has infected the reasoning of these Victims, rendering them acutely sensitive to anything that sounds like an indictment - or less than perfumed commentary - concerning White people in general or their White partner specifically. Conquest often accompanies division.
Illustration: The C.O.W.S. w/ Cheryl Judice (February 2010).

If the reader took in Lakeview Terrace, this author may sound like the reincarnation of Abel Turner - Gus suspects that was one of the main objectives of the film. SADD has far reaching implications, should not be accepted without serious investigation and could be incorrect. However, I challenge the reader. Scrutinize non-white people who are sexually involved with White people. For starters, access their willingness to admit and dialog about Racism. Evaluate their understanding of the System of White Supremacy and what - if anything - they are doing to earnestly challenge it. Make your own conclusions.

"Mind Now Whatchu Say..."

What's good Victims of White Supremacy {VOWS} and Admitted/Suspected Racist? In a recent exchange of views, I stated that the process of combating Racism/White Supremacy (WHITE PEOPLE) and establishing Justice is predominantly about WORDS. Knowing what to say AND what not to say. I have observed that even as White people of the northwestern hemisphere stockpile firearms at an astronomic - dare I say, Extinction Level Event - rate in the wake of Mr. Obama's victory, the one thing they amass at a greater rate than munitions... is WORDS. If you recall, non-whites could be executed for reading during earlier periods of "American" history. White people overstand the potency of the pen.

So, a receptive Victim of Racism says, "Give me an example... this needs to be tangible to me!" I says, "No problem." I'll construct a list of terms non-whites should avoid. A second VOWS says, "If you make that list, I'd like to see a copy." Wow, I got two Victims of Racism requesting counter-racist suggestions. No time for lollygagging.

African-American
Minority
Multiracial
Diversity
Half-White
Mixed
Other

Prejudice
People of Color
Multicultural
Ethnic
Post-Racial

I'll share my view on what is incorrect about a portion of these terms; I'll leave the remainder for you to "chew on".
  • Other: An intoxicated White man approached me - double YIKES! I knew the gentlemen, but I mean... this is White Supremacy! He explained that he recently got glasses and now recognized the trauma of being the other. The other what? The other Suspected Racist? The Other Side of Town? (Curtis can tell you about the non-white side of town). The System of Racism obliterates and confounds non-whites with convoluted and indirect speech. I ain't never heard nobody say, "Other than White". That's a lil' too honest, reveals a lil' too much about the Racist environment in which we exist. Non-whites should discontinue the use of this phrase AND question anyone who uses it. Make them announce exactly who they are referencing when they say other.
  • Minority: This is an excellent example of how words shape comprehension and perceptions of the world. Non-whites - 90% of the global population - are trained to reference themselves as MINORities. On a subconscious level this conditions non-whites to devalue themselves and their mistreatment, to perceive themselves as an outnumbered, niggardly* faction within an American Democracy where the majority[WHITE PEOPLE] rules. It would be most accurate to say that the overwhelming majority of the individuals in the known universe are classified as non-white and exist within a global System of White Supremacy - established, maintained, expanded and refined by less than ten percent of the global population who classify themselves as WHITE. [*niggardly - less plentiful than what is normal, necessary, or desirable; meager]
  • Half-White: The Victim of White Supremacy known as Queen P has dialoged with me and defended the use of Half-White for some time. I felt I could never adequately express what was incorrect about this term. As usual, I was missing the obvious. In the context of White Supremacy, exactly what does it mean to be WHITE? This is a critical question that every Victim of Racism should answer; and they should make certain to ask a plethora of White people to break this down for them. I guarantee it'll be a memorable experience each time you ask a White person to specify what it means to be White - make sure you ask them if they are White first. Cause I mean, you gotta know what it means to be White, if you know you are White, right? Once you grasp what it means to be White, the inaccuracy of the term Half-White will be obvious.
  • Ethnic: June, 2008. Spring quarter comes to a close at the University of Washington. I bumped into a non-white student en route to submitting their final. She was finishing up a course in American Ethnic Studies. I says, "You just completed a quarter of exploration in the department of Ethnic Studies. What does 'ethnic' mean?" The student had no idea. I asked if this was problematic? She concurred and invited me to ask some of her classmates. We asked students and Teaching Assistants... no one knew what "ethnic" meant. Until... we bumped into a queen, a White woman. "What does ethnic mean?" She said - without hesitation, "non-white." Thank you for clearing this up oh, enchanted, fair maiden. Let's just stick with non-white to minimize confusion.
  • African-American: I've actually had a White woman get angry with me because I decried the use of the term African-American. "Malcolm X coined that term... your roots to the Motherland... Ubuntu... Ali Bumaye!" I suspect this White woman - Georgia Roberts - has had sexual intercourse with non-whites [state side and the Motherland]. Next time I see her, I'll ask for her view on whether Charlize Theron is African-American. Theron, born in Benoni, South Africa, became a naturalized citizen of the United States in 2007 - and she speaks Xhosa. She may have a better claim to the term than I. I ain't put a toe down no where near Africa and can barely speak English - as you can see. Oh yeah, talking 'bout White women got me distracted. What are the qualifications for being African-American? And what do the terms African and American mean?
  • People of Color: White people and non-whites alike got a vice grip on this term. Major difference? Many White people have an elaborate understanding of this phrase & how it supports the System of White Supremacy. Non-whites - as usual - display our victimization, i.e., our deficiencies in comprehension. And I got counter-racist case studies to bolster my view! The admitted White Supremacist known as Rebecca Aanerud (206.221.0710) defended her use of People of Color. Aanerud said that substituting Non-White for People of Color, gives the impression that White is the norm, the standard of judgement; that anything not white is some how deviant. Codified, A+ response? "Ms. Aanerud, in a System of White Supremacy, is that true?" "Well... erh.... uh.... ummm.... Yes, but..." Thank you Ms. Aanerud; no further questions. Non-whites who defend this phrase, didn't comment on semantics or what truths and information the term "People of Color" conveys. They explained that "People of Color" was birthed in the struggle for liberation, and that the use of the term is an homage to blood shed and lives lost. Malcolm and C. L. R. James used this term, so it most certainly should be carried forward and enunciated with dignity. Translation: we're doing this because we've always done this. Hallmark victimization, niggardly thinking (glance back at that definition).

Words are tools, weapons not accessories. Speech is not a Malcolm X cap or a dashiki - a catch-phrase or garment brandished to impress, imitate truth. Speech is the verbalization of accurate information. This is done by precision crafted selection and deletion of words that reveal or conceal truth. The best evidence that non-whites are retarded by the System of Racism, is our collective failure to communicate.

It is said that the [non-white] loves to
jabber; in my own case, when I think of
the word jabber I see a gay group of children
calling and shouting for the sake of calling
and shouting - children in the midst of play,
to the degree to which play can be
considered an [imitation of ]... life.
The [non-white] loves to jabber, and
from this... leads to a new proposition:
The [non-white] is just a child. [Frantz Fanon, Black Skin, White Mask pg. 26]
Children are careless with words. Elementary school teachers remind tikes to refrain from using words if they do not know what they mean. Why? Because most likely they do not know what they are saying. Any words that you cannot define in a simple to understand manner should be added to the above list. Words transport your thoughts and feelings to the world. You don't choose words based on how they sound or because other people use the them. You select words that best convey your meaning. Communication is reduced to incoherent babble when the spoken/heard words are not understood. And many of the terms used in discussions of Racism ARE NOT CLEAR. And if you don't believe it... break out a pen and pad and see if you got simple, easy to grasp definitions for every term listed above (Start with post-racial).

Non-whites - Victims of White Supremacy - scamper about calling words without meaning, easily fascinated, manipulated by sounds. I have been - and often still am - guilty of this myself. And I place culpability on the White people who practice Racism.
Admitted White Supremacist David Allen stated, "We speak the language of White Supremacy." Meaning, the tools we use to connect with everything and everyone, the linguistic framework which defines our world, our lives, has been engineered to support the mistreatment of non-whites. White Supremacists make a concerted effort to use words that do not reflect truth about their criminal system; their primary activity is deceiving non-whites, and they flourish in doing so. Non-whites are literally being smothered by language that diverts attention from and/or promotes the system of Racism. I believe the terms above exemplify this - and there are others!

The late, great Negro author, James Baldwin, wrote, "The Victim who is able to articulate the situation of the victim has ceased to be a victim: he or she has become a threat."
To make it plain. As a Victim of Racism, you threaten the System of White Supremacy - and support the establishment of Justice - by telling your story well. The use of words that efficiently, accurately reveal truth and articulate your mistreatment, are ruinous to a system founded on lies. The terms listed above do not threaten the System of White Supremacy. All non-whites, all opponents of Racism, should dedicate themselves to fashioning words and meanings that expose Racists and their activities.
We should all be using the best words possible to snitch on White people!
